Mike Abriam

Mike and Tiffany’s lives together are a testament to the transformative power of faith, a journey that began later in life but has since blossomed into a vibrant life of grace, redemption, and deep fellowship with God and others. Mike and Tiffany began attending Hope chapel in January of 2020. Throughout this time Mike was trained and raised up to be a care-group leader, teacher, and deacon, all while pursuing a Master of Divinity from Liberty University. Tiffany has served as Women’s ministry leader, teacher with children’s ministry, and advocate for others within the church, all while pursuing a Master’s of Biblical Studies. Together Mike and Tiffany have five children. Currently Mike serves as a U.S. History teacher and coach at Colorado Springs Christian Schools (CSCS), and Tiffany serves on the CSCS security team. Mike’s desire as an Elder is to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, from the least to the greatest.

They quickly fell in love with the church because of its focus on the Gospel, passion for the worship of the Triune God, and its close-knit community. Jason soon began serving in the children's ministry, became a CareGroup leader and also preached from time-to-time. He was anointed as an elder of Hope Chapel in 2016 and has served in that capacity ever since. Jason's passion in ministry is "to make ready a people prepared for the Lord." Wolf and his wife Jenny moved to Colorado Springs in 2014 after Wolf accepted an engineering position here. They began attending Hope Chapel regularly in the fall of that year. Wolf had served on the worship team and with the men's ministry at their previous church in Pennsylvania for several years and soon began participating in those ministries at Hope Chapel as well. Some years later, he was trained for and began leading a CareGroup. He was eventually asked to prepare a sermon for the summer campout and later went through the Elder Candidacy program before accepting a call as an Elder/Pastor in December of 2019. Wolf and Jenny were married in 2009 and enjoy the company of their "career changed" guide dogs Sonny and Jethro. Bill Gross

Elder EMeRITUS

Bill and Lynn moved to Colorado Springs in 1980, where they came to faith in Christ. Bill has been involved in various ministries since the beginning. They served in three growing churches in town, helping to plant one of them, before coming to Hope Chapel in 2006. Bill said it felt like “coming home.” He became an elder in 2007, filling in wherever needed. Lynn served in the office, in an administrative role. They’ve been faithful companions and co-workers for nearly fifty years. They have two grown children, and three grandchildren, two of whom have graduated college. Bill’s vision for Hope Chapel has been to create a reproducible model for a community of believers who are enthusiastic in their worship, grounded in their doctrine, and warm in their fellowship – that they might serve Christ with excellence and joy.
