Reaching those in need with a message of hope…

Since we first started gathering as a church, we have repeatedly invested time, energy, and resources to care for those in particular need - both domestically and internationally. It’s looked different over time… here’s a brief snapshot of our outreach and missions efforts.

We‘d love for you to be a part of what the Lord's doing here!

2020’s

In 2020, as a result of the global pandemic, the majority of our global outreach spending shifted. We redirected efforts to supporting those stateside who are actively involved in the defense of the gospel - and that support continues today. Our commitment to global outreach and missions continues as well. A member of our congregation started the process of representing Hope Chapel overseas. We partnered financially and in prayer as she raised her own financial support.  In January of 2022, we partnered with Operation Mobilization to facilitate her missionary work in Moldova and Romania for two years!

In 2024, we intend to expand our tangible expression of the Gospel in our local community,  while maintaining our commitment towards global missions. We are excited to see what the Lord intends to accomplish through this little body of believers. A practical expression this year includes three members of our leadership team and their families serving in Boquillas, Mexico to preach, lead worship, lead a VBS, counsel, and invest into pastoral teams.

2010’s

In 2012, leadership began to take a more proactive approach to missions. A couple of our pastors and leaders embarked on an extended trip to support a local church in Iceland. The planning process took nearly 9 months. In 2013 families were sent to that Reykjavik church to help care for the pastor and his family. After that experience, he travelled from Iceland to America in 2014, to participate in a training conference with us in Louisville, KY. In 2015, members of the team from Hope Chapel returned to Iceland, we and we began financially supporting that pastor. In 2017, by God’s grace, he had an opportunity to come to Colroado Springs, serving alongside us for a week. Our support of that pastor continued until 2020.

2000’s

In the mid-2000’s, our outreach efforts expanded across the US. When Hurricane Katrina hit, a number of our members quickly mobilized and went and served for weeks at a time. When a church in Oklahoma needed helping hands to rebuild after a local disaster there, members once again mobilized, traveled there, and invested into the community.

1990’s

Since the late 1990’s, Hope Chapel Colorado Springs has occasionally engaged in youth mission trips to Mexico. Though irregular in frequency, the irregularity was based upon volunteer coordinator availability.  As volunteers stepped forward to organize these trips, they were well-participated in.
